Electricity as Fuel: Utilities and Manufacturers Building the New Paradigm

Grid-connected transportation will require electric utilities to plan for the growth of the industry, to establish standards for interconnection and demand management and meet new Federal and state regulations for the security and reliability of the grid. In this session, EDTA members will discuss projections for the penetration of plug-in vehicles and detail their efforts to establish a smooth transition to an electrically driven fleet and provide their perspectives on how manufacturers, electricity providers and consumer behavior needs to evolve.
