About EDTA
Mission
The Electric Drive Transportation Association (EDTA) is the preeminent US industry association dedicated to the promotion of electric drive as the best means to achieve the highly efficient and clean use of secure energy in the transportation sector.
Members
EDTA brings together 110+ key stakeholders from across the electric vehicle value chain, constituting the most comprehensive manufacturers’ and trade association representing transportation electrification.
Governance
EDTA’s governing body is the EDTA Board of Directors, the “Board”. The Board has established three Board Committees: the Executive Committee, the Market Development Committee, and the Education & Outreach Committee.
History
Created in 1989, EDTA has more than two decades of experience in the promotion of electrified transportation.
Hall of Fame
The EDTA Hall
of Fame honors the electric drive industry’s
truest pioneers of electric drive technology.
Inductees are chosen by the EDTA Board of
Directors for their legacy and leadership in
the movement to commercialize electric
vehicles.
Operating Committees
EDTA has
three Operating Committees: the Communications
and Media Relations Committee, the
GoElectricDrive Committee,
and the Public Policy
Committee.
