Smart EV 2011 Executive Leadership Forum

While
Electric Vehicles (EVs) bring with them a great
deal of promise for the United States including
energy independence and significant
environmental benefits, there are growing
concerns over how the increased adoption of EVs
will impact the Smart Grid. The Smart EV
Executive Leadership Forum will bring together
stakeholders in the U.S. electric vehicle
market as well as representatives from the
Energy and Utilities industry to talk about
what utilities and policy makers need to know
now to plan for the uptake and wider adoption
of EVs. In addition, the event will discuss the
needs of consumers – particularly EV owners
– and specifically what they can expect in
terms of new applications and rate structuring
that will help them adjust to a new EV
lifestyle.
The event will feature many prominent speakers from the industry, most of whom come from EDTA's membership. EDTA President, Brian Wynne, will also be participating on the 'Voice of the Consumer' panel. Participating EDTA members include:
